Program Overview

Master Your Global Future

A transformative 12-month program combining advanced business education with regional expertise and hands-on learning.

Program Purpose

Preparing students for leadership in a globalized world

The M.S. in Global Engagement Management prepares students for business leadership in a globalized world by combining an advanced business curriculum—including international business management, strategy, finance, and analytics—with rigorous area studies exploring the geopolitics, economies, cultures, and policies of regions relevant to North American interests.

Students engage in hands-on work-integrated learning (WIL), networking, and collaborative research projects, graduating ready to lead in transnational settings and drive value for organizations navigating the dynamic new world order—characterized by shifting alliances, trade disruptions, and increased emphasis on like-minded countries sharing democratic values and a commitment to a rules-based international system.

Graduates are equipped for leadership positions in multinational firms, consulting, trade organizations, policy institutes, government agencies, and NGOs across Canada, the Americas, and the Indo-Pacific region. The program also provides a strong academic foundation for those aspiring to pursue doctoral studies or careers in international business research, policy design, trade, or diplomatic engagement.
